A night out with Shona - 15/1/2011

Shona and me have been friends ever since i started Tae Kwon Doe (which is a type of martial arts) about 6 or 7 years ago. We have hurt each other, given each other black eyes and bruises, made each other cry and made each other laugh, we are pretty damn close! Which is why she is my Wife on facebook.... not that people should be going round doing that to there Wifes :)

Shona only turned 18 2 months or so ago, and as i am up in Derbyland at uni haven't been able to go out clubbing with her, nor was i able to celebrate her birthday, so we decided that Saturday 15th would be the night we would party :)

Got my stuff together and went over to Shona's to get ready, which first we had to decided what she was wearing as she had not decided, she had the choices of a dress which i really liked, but when she put it on and twirled her bum looked MASSIVE! which is odd, because her bum is not that big, but that dress was some evil make your bum look massive kind of dress, so that was a no, no. Then the other choice was in Shona's words "a catsuit" but was actually just an all in one piece, black with buttons down the front. Which i said she should wear, as 1) she looked good in it and 2) I was wearing a black with black and gold shorts all in one. :)

After about two hours of getting ready we headed out.
Never actually been out on a Saturday night in Milton Keynes, and i must say its different.
We got into Lloylds, and got a drink, in which some random guy in a red hoody kept trying to speak to me and i was a bit like errr go away :) and then some other random guy who asked if i could take a picture of him and his friend, and then asked if i could have a picture with him.... which i now realise some random guy has a picture of me and him somewhere out there.... bit of an odd thought...  Not long after that me and Shona were dancing away, when some random guy came up to us saying he had lost his friend, and if he could stay with us for a while, so we said ummm i guess so... then all of a sudden he suggested that i would look like one of those "gorgeous" American girls if i just whipped my glasses off and whished my hair about, which made me LOL, then thankfully his friend came back, so me and Shona was able to dicta him!!! Then after all this randomness found Bekah, as well as the others, so stuck with them for a while, in which out of no where Shona knocked off with some guy... so i was a bit like okayy then... carried on partying with the others, dancing, laughing and drinking was good fun :D
So the night pressed on made some new friends, but Bekah and that group went off home as they were feeling ill, and then the other group went off as they felt ill also. So it was just me and Shona, in which she knocked of with 3 other guys, left me standing basically by myself... which was okayy i guess, until random people started talking to me... so glad i found an old friend Reece, who spoke to for a while.. and then was left again. As well as this whilst being on my own a Polish man came over to me saying that his wife had sent him over to speak to me... in which i was a bit like ummmm alright.... yes? and then his wife came over, and they asked if i wanted to come back to there house... in which i was like Shona we are leaving!

So got a taxi home, dropped Shona off, and then asked the taxi driver to drive me home and gave him the address, in which i was so glad i was not off my head, as he had no idea how to get there and basically had to show him the whole way, which i would not have a hell in chance if i was drunk. When i got home, my Dad had left the keys under the place where he usually does, as i had forgotten my keys, however he thought it would be clever to bury the keys, so i had to dig them out, and whilst doing that dislocated my shoulder out and back in. Resulting in quite alot of pain.

To summarise the night. It was actually better than im making it sound, but by the time everyone had left, it got a bit boring and dry :) and i know Shona had a good night ;)
