Im thinking of bloging about past things that are worthy enough in my view to be blogged.. (Y)
Saturday 28th November 2009:
Went to see Towers of London (in which of those who do not know are a English punk band, fairly famous, so google them.... after reading this blog of course ;)) Anyway, was having an amazing evening, until the band i had actually payed to go see came on... not because they were crap or anything, in fact they were incredible. But through one of the songs Donny (the singer) decided to jump of the stage... in which as i was standing at the front, he jumped on me... not just that he jumped onto my ankle!! at first i didn't feel much was more of a woh omg reaction, until i tryed to walk and was like FUCK!!! (just typing about it, is making me cringe in pain) i hopped to the bathroom, pulled my jean leg up and saw a massive gashing disgusting bruised ankle! At this point i would like to thank Franco for giving me a piggyback to my mums car! Though i was annoyed that my mum refused to take me to the hospital, as she did not wish to be in there on a Saturday evening, and thought it wasnt that serious... no mum.... a gashing swollen disgusting ankle, an unable daughter, in extreme pain, unable to walk is not that serious... ¬¬
Anyway after NOT sleeping for the whole night due to the increasing pain.. the next morning my mum finally took me to the hospital! I was quite suprised to know i had not broken it at all.. (ive always been suprised i have never broken a bone considering im always getting hurt, must have strong bones i guess (Y)) In fact it was just increadibly bruised, outisde and the bone was increadibly bruised... i did question the doctors diagnosis as i could not move my ankle, and the pain was one of the worse pain i had been in.
Instead it was patched up, and wrapped up and i was given crutches and lots of painkillers for the pain, as just to note it hurt even when i wasnt moving it, like someone stabbing a knife and trying to cut through my bone!
Being in crutches:
Was a pain at the start, had no idea how to use them, and was mega slow moving around! After a while i got the hang of them, except my hands killed! but after a few weeks they numbed up, and didn't hurt so much...
I have to say the most awkward part of being in crutches was going to the cinema, having to use the escalators when the lift was out of order, going up the stairs, getting in and out of a car, trying to make food, carrying a drink, going to a party, and being around school!
Though the best part tbh was that i worked out my upper body was alot better than i thought it was, (Y)
